Cooperation, Volunteers Get Golf Course Job Done

Buffalo's Municipal Golf Course has had ongoing issues with its parking lot, and the city has been struggling to keep up repairs as it has deteriorated.

But thanks to some in the community that have donated time, equipment, materials, and some sweat equity, the city-owned property looks to be in better shape moving forward, according to Buffalo Mayor Shane Schrader.

Those that volunteered were Gary Garland with Hot Iron, Inc.; Dan Rogers with Rocky Mountain Equipment; Barnum Construction; County Commissioner Bob Perry; and city crews.

Schrader said there is still some work to be done, but so far they have accomplished quite a bit, as he explains.

Schrader said it was great to watch a community come together to get something accomplished to make things better for everyone.
