Congressional Candidate Announces Intentions to Drop Out of Race

Rex Rammell, Republican candidate for Wyoming’s lone congressional seat, has announced that he will hold a news conference today, where he intends to withdraw from the race and offer his endorsement of one of his opponents.

Rammell, a 55-year-old Gillette Veterinarian, who’s originally from Idaho, has been a staunch proponent of giving control of public land back to the states.

Rammell said he will announce his endorsement at 1 today in Casper in the park next to the Dick Cheney Federal Building.
