Five local nonprofit organizations in Sheridan Wednesday received grant funding from the Wyoming Community Foundation. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

The five nonprofit agencies that received funding were Big Brothers Big Sisters, CHAPS, Habitat for Humanity, the Food Group and Joey’s Fly Fishing Foundation. Wyoming Community Foundation Sheridan-Johnson Advisory Board member Ada Kirven.

Kirven said that the funding will help all of the organizations continue to do great work in the community.

We will hear from each of the grant recipients and how they intend to use the funding for the specific organization in an upcoming series of stories.
