Commissioners Approve Request From PRCC Board

The Sheridan County Commissioners Tuesday approved a request from the Powder River Community Center Board to have the County take ownership of the old Arvada Elementary School. Powder River Community Center Board member Bob Moore explains why they requested that the County get involved.

Moore says that the facility is still in pretty good shape and that they will look at obtaining funding to possibly do some remodeling in the future.

The Powder River Community Center Board was incorporated in the summer of 2004, following the decision of the Sheridan County School District Three Board to vacate the Arvada Elementary School.
