Commissioners Address Liquor Licenses

A request for a new retail liquor license, two requests to transfer retail liquor licenses, and a request for a conditional use permit that would allow a package liquor store within an existing Sheridan County business were items that were considered Tuesday by the Sheridan County Commission.

Commissioners approved a request from the Big Horn Equestrian Center for a new retail liquor license that will allow the Equestrian Center to serve alcohol outside of the clubhouse for certain events. A request to transfer a retail liquor license from Tunnel Vision V LLC, to Gregory A. and Diana M. Heinrich DBA as The Tunnel Inn was approved by Commissioners, as was a request to transfer a retail liquor license request from Walter and Kerrie Bohler to Wyarno Roadhouse LLC, DBA Wyarno Roadhouse.

Commissioner Chair Bob Rolston says that they’ve been working on cleaning up some of the issues with liquor licenses throughout the County.

Commissioners also approved a conditional use permit that will allow the Barn in Big Horn to operate a package liquor store within the facility. Sales will be allowed on a limited basis, Monday through Friday from 10 am to 4 pm during the months of January, February and March.
