Commissioners Accepting Scholarship Applications

The Sheridan County Commissioners are now accepting applications from 2013 high school graduates for three scholarships. The Commissioners are prepared to offer $1000 to be paid in $500 installments over two semesters to students who plan to attend eligible institutions within the state. Commissioner, Bob Rolston, explains how recipients are selected.

Graduates from all three school districts within Sheridan County can apply for the scholarship by submitting a letter of application and introduction, a sealed official fall transcript, and a letter of recommendation. For more information, stop by the Commissioners' Office or click here.. The deadline to submit applications is May 3.
