Commission Candidates Weigh-In on Air Service

There are four candidates in this year’s General Election who are vying for three spots on the Sheridan County Commission.

At a candidate forum this week hosted by the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee, all four of the candidates were in attendance to discuss their platforms and answer a number of different questions pertaining to the future of Sheridan County. One of the questions asked of the candidates, was “should the County subsidize air service?” Jay McGinnis, the lone Democrat in the race, answered first.

Next up was candidate Christi Burgess Haswell.

Candidate and current Commissioner Terry Cram offered his thoughts on subsidizing air service.

And finally, Nick Siddle offered his opinion on the issue.

Next month’s General Election is set for Tuesday, November 6.
