The need to finish what you start was one of the lessons Steve Hanson had for Tongue River High School graduates Sunday night in Dayton.
Hanson, who's history and government teacher and head football and track coach, was the keynote speaker for graduation exercises. He talked about taking the next step.
More than 30 seniors graduated from Tongue River this year. Tongue River High School Principal Mark Fritz presented the class, and Marty Kobza, who's superintendent of Sheridan County School District 1, presented the diplomas.
Elizabeth Martin was Salutatorian, and Libby Heimbaugh Valedictorian. Also attending the event were District 1 trustees Karen Walters and Gary Reynolds.
