The Sheridan College Veteran's Club will host the Combat Color Fun Run this Sunday (Oct.6) at Sheridan College. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the details.

The event is a 3 mile fun run or a 1.25 mile walk designed to combine a game of color tag with fitness. Sheridan College Veteran's Services Director Brett Burtis says the run is untimed, as it's about having fun and raising money for the Wounded Warrior Project.

Registration for the walk and run is $30 for adults and $10 for children 10 and under. You can register online in advance or the day of the event. Burtis said the run will start and finish at Veteran's Plaza in front of the college. He added that they raised over $7,000 at the first Combat Color run in May, and that participants should wear a plain white t-shirt and some element of camouflage. The fun run will begin at 1 pm this upcoming Sunday. Click here to pre-register.
