College Board Will Continue To Work On Executive Succession Plan Policy

Developing an Executive Succession Plan Policy is something that has been in the works for some time for the Northern Wyoming Community College District. The Board of Trustees for the College District approved the first reading of such a policy last night at their monthly meeting. Sheridan College President Dr. Kevin Drumm.

The board discussed several changes to the wording of the policy that will be implemented before the 2nd and 3rd readings. The Board also tabled a resolution proposal made by Northwest College in Powell that would raise the state sales tax a quarter cent to help fund community colleges in the state.

Officials at Northwest College adopted the sales tax resolution recently, and they are asking other community colleges in the state to follow suit by approving a similar resolution that supports the proposed sales tax increase.
