Collaborative T-N-R Project

Second Chance Sheridan Cat Rescue and the Dog and Cat Shelter of Sheridan have teamed up to try and address the ever growing problem of stray and feral cats in Sheridan, and Sheridan County.

Second Chance Program Director Rachel Kristiansen says that they are seeking funding from Sheridan County and the City of Sheridan for a collaborative Trap-Neuter-Return project.

Kristiansen said that finding a building in the area is an essential piece to making the project work.

Kristiansen said that the building would need to be 5,000 to 8,000 square feet in size. She said that depending on the number of cats that are brought in for the project, it would cost anywhere from $18,000, to $32,000.
