Coffeen Elementary Presents "A Critter's Christmas"

A local elementary school had its annual Christmas concert. Hannah Stepenoff was there and has the story.


Students from Henry A. Coffeen Elementary performed before a full auditorium at Sheridan Jr. High in Sheridan Wednesday for their annual Christmas concert.

The theme for the evening “A Critter's Christmas” was well represented with song's like “Polar Puppy”, “Penguin Polka” and “Reindeer Shouldn't Waltz.”

The concert featured two musical numbers by each grade and performances by the Cougar choir and the 3rd Through 5th grade orchestra. Here the orchestra performs “Jolly Old St. Nicholas”

The kindergarteners started with a tune called “Mittons and Gloves”

The first grade class sang “Penguin Polka.”

The concert culminated with a rendition of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” from performers in the first through fifth grades.
