Class For Younger Drivers Designed To Save Lives

A class to be offered in Buffalo next week may save lives and may also qualify for a discount from insurance companies for younger drivers.

“Alive at 25, Saving Lives Through Education” will be offered next Monday at Buffalo High School.

According to their website, Alive at 25 is a 4 ½ hour driver's awareness course designed by the National Safety Council for young drivers ages 15 through 24.
The course includes defensive driving classroom curriculum to gain awareness and develop strategies to stay safe on the road; and decision-making and responsibility-taking through interactive media, workbook exercises, role playing and discussions.

The course is free to attend for those doing so voluntarily, and $35 for court-ordered attendees.

The class will be from 11 am to 3:30 pm on Monday, February 18th.

There are still a number of seats available for the course, and registration can be done online.
