Sheridan's Civic Theatre Guild celebrated another successful year with an End of Season Party at the Carriage House Theater Thursday night.

Guild President David Myers said the organization gets together every year for an end-of-season celebration, and this year, the Guild did five shows and they all did well.

Myers also introduced Kaleen Juergens, who assumed her duties as the new Guild president at the event.

Myers said the Guild plans to do five plays again in its next season.

He said the third play is called Ripcord, and the fourth is The Underpants by Steve Martin. Myers said the last play of the season will be a co-production, and the name won't be announced for a while.

Myers said the Civic Theatre Guild started in 1955 and originally performed at the old Sheridan High School, located where Sheridan Junior High School is now. The Guild moved productions to the Carriage House on the grounds of the Trail End State Historic Site in the mid-1980s.
