The City of Sheridan, by way of a resolution that was approved by the City Council at a recent meeting, authorized submission of a grant application on behalf of the Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority Joint Powers Board to the Wyoming Business Council under the Business Ready Community Grant and Loan Program for a Business Committed Project.

The grant application is in the amount of $12.5 million to build a proposed 100,000 square foot manufacturing facility in the Sheridan High Tech Park.

City of Sheridan Administrator Mark Collins says that “Project Enterprise” will benefit the community a number of different ways.

Collins said the Wyoming Business Council will consider the grant application at their next regularly scheduled meeting on December 7. He said the State Land and Investment Board, or SLIB, will act on the Business Council’s recommendations at their meeting January 18 in Cheyenne.
