City Receives Loan for North Sheridan Interchange Project

The Wyoming State Loan and Investment Board at their meeting Thursday in Cheyenne approved a $1.18 million Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan for the North Sheridan Interchange Project.

According to City of Sheridan Project Manager Joe Schoen, the City requested the funding to replace old, corroded water mains and appurtenances for North Main as part of the Interchange Project.

Schoen said the North Sheridan Interchange Project will provide the City with an opportunity to replace old infrastructure along North Main at a substantial cost savings, and that the loan was approved with an interest rate of 2.5 percent and 50 percent principal forgiveness.
