Officials with the City of Sheridan have already begun looking at the budget numbers for the upcoming fiscal year which begins July 1. Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey says that they are getting a jump on the budget because of Governor Matt Mead's proposed biennial budget.

The Mayor added that the city will be keeping a close eye on what legislators do during the upcoming session in regard to the underfunded pension funds for city employees, firefighters and law enforcement.
