The Sheridan City Council will soon be considering a contract with a Sheridan business to provide social media services. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

In August, the City of Sheridan disseminated a request for proposals for companies interested in providing social media services for the City. After receiving 8 proposals, four of which were from local companies, a committee comprised of City staff selected Alphagraphics of Sheridan to provide the service. City Human Resources Director Heather Doke said the City has multiple Facebook pages and part of the plan is to have Alphagraphics consolidate their social media so that they reach a wider audience.

The City Council, at their next regularly scheduled meeting Monday will consider the contract with Alphagraphics in the amount of $16,680 for September through June of next year.
