City Council Holds Special Meeting to Authorize Grant Submission

The Sheridan City Council Monday held a special meeting over the noon hour where they approved a resolution authorizing the Downtown Sheridan Association to apply for a planning grant through the Wyoming Business Council.

The DSA is looking to use the grant for a feasibility study for a Downtown Entrepreneurial Center that would allow for the DSA to identify properties in downtown with redevelopment potential. DSA President John Smith.

The planning grant that DSA is applying for is in the amount of $25,000. The City will fund the cash match of $8,340 from professional services funds set aside for economic development.
