City Council Gets Update On LINCS Program

The Sheridan Senior Center helps to provide community services to people that may have trouble getting the help they need on their own. One of those programs is called LINCS, which stands for Linking INdividuals to Community Services. Senior Center Representative Lois Bell says that our community is aging and the economy is making it hard for many seniors.

What is the City’s role in the LINCS program?

That’s Sheridan City Councilor Steve Brantz. The City supports the Senior Center with One-Cent Optional sales tax monies. The City also owns the Senior Center property and leases it to the Center for $1 per year.
