The Sheridan City Council will soon be considering an ordinance to annex a portion of property on Brundage Lane into the City. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Last month, the City Council accepted the annexation report for the East Brundage Lane Annexation, which is a request by the property owner to annex 3.84 acres of unplatted land located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Brundage Lane and Commercial Avenue.

City Community Development Director Brian Craig, at a recent study session of the City Council, said that staff is recommending M-1 Industrial Zoning for the property once annexed into the City to keep it consistent with the rest of the commercial park.

Craig said that the property owner, Northwest Distributing Co., Inc., at this time has not suggested an intended use or submitted an application for subdividing the land.
