City of Buffalo Accepting Bids for Cemetery Road Pathway

City of Buffalo Accepting Bids for Cemetery Road Pathway

The City of Buffalo has put out an advertisement for bids on a walking pathway on Cemetery Road. The bids are for professional services on the pathway that will be built on Cemetery Road between the high school and South Burritt Street, where it will tie in with the City's Safe Routes to School Sidewalk Project, which is a separate project altogether.

Tom Hulick, Project Coordinator and Building Inspector for the City of Buffalo, explains what the bids are for.

Hulick said he hopes the project will begin and be completed this summer.

Construction on the pathway will be on the south shoulder of the roadway and should cause few, if any, problems with traffic in the area.

The pathway is being funded by a Transportation Enhancement Activities Local (or TEAL) Grant through the Wyoming Department of Transportation. The path will be a gravel surface suitable for walking or bicycling.

Bids for the Cemetery Road Pathway Project, Hulick said, will be opened Thursday, May 5th.
