City Approves Requests For Annual Zombie Run

Buffalo's City Council approved a number of requests associated with the annual Zombie Fun Run, a fundraiser for the Bread of Life Food Pantry and the Buffalo High School Track Team.

The Food Pantry's Pam McFadden, before making her request of the council, first thanked them for their donations during the recent Basque Festival.

McFadden then asked the council for permission to use Crazy Woman Square for the event, which will happen this coming Tuesday, August 15th.
Pre-registration will be at 6pm with the run set to start at 7.
She explained more about the run and the other happenings associated with it.

McFadden said the run gives the food pantry the opportunity to interact with younger people and to let them know about the importance of the food pantry and the services they provide to fellow community members.

The council approved the use of the square and the Buffalo Police Department helping with safety of participants at intersections along the route.
