Citations issued in Rawlins sheep attacks

RAWLINS, Wyo. (AP) - Citations have been issued to the owner of dogs police say were involved in a pair of attacks on sheep and goats in Rawlins.
Rawlins Police Chief Mike Reed says a Rawlins resident received citations Wednesday related to the attacks on Jan. 28 and Feb. 3. Seventeen sheep and goats were killed and nine injured in the first attack. Two sheep were injured in the second attack. Rawlins Animal Control Officer Jamie Spencer confirmed the citations explicitly link both attacks.
Court documents were not immediately available to confirm the
name of the cited individual.
