Chrome Cowgirls Ride into Sheridan for Charity

Chrome Cowgirls Ride into Sheridan for Charity

Twenty-two leather-clad women on Harleys made their way up through northern Wyoming, stopped in Story, and finally arrived Saturday afternoon at the Trails End Motel for the annual Chrome Cowgirls Charity Run.

Theresa DeFeyter, one of the Chrome Cowgirls, says that the event is all about raising money for a good cause and having fun at the same time.

Every year the Chrome Cowgirls pick a charity that has some affiliation with women, and this year's charity was Climb Wyoming. Climb Wyoming helps single mothers around the state. DeFeyter says it is exactly the kind of charity that they like to support.

Money was raised through a silent and live auction, various raffles and vendors, and sponsors from around the state.
