Christmas Tree Permits Now Available

Cutting your own Christmas tree has become a family tradition for many throughout the years. Permits are now available from the Bighorn National Forest at their offices in Lovell, Buffalo and Sheridan. Bighorn National Forest Public Affairs Specialist Susie Douglas.

There a number of rules and regulations that people need to be aware of before heading out to harvest their tree.

Douglas added that it's a good idea to check the weather conditions before making your trip up the mountain. You can also purchase a Christmas tree permit by mail by clicking here.
