Christmas Lessons and Carols Back for Another Year

Christmas Lessons and Carols Back for Another Year

Although Christmas Day has come and gone, the 12 Days of Christmas have only just begun. In celebration, 12 local churches have collaborated to create an ecumenical event for the community for a second year. Pastor at Sheridan’s St. Peter’s Episcopal Church John Inserra, explains more about the event.

Pastor of Cornerstone Church in Sheridan Tony Forman said that last year’s event was packed full and people reported that they loved the event. Pastor Inserra explained that the Christmas season traditionally lasted longer than most think.

The service will be held at St. Peter’s at 6:30pm on Thursday, January 4. It will feature local musicians like Rod Jost, Suzie Hills, and a multi-church choir and should last around an hour. For those that cannot make it in person, it will be streamed live on St. Peter’s Episcopal Church of Sheridan’s Facebook page.
