Buffalo Police Chief Jason Carder requested the city council accept grants from the for alcohol and tobacco compliance checks in 2020 for $3,400 each, which was approved.

Chief Carder reported that during the month the department handled nearly 1,400 incidents but it was relatively quiet during Longmire Days and fair and rodeo considering the amount of people that were in town.

The city's animal control officer responded to no calls in the county and they were charges nothing for the month of July.
