SC Preps for A Changing Economy

Earlier this week the Sheridan City Council approved a funding match by Whitney Benefits that will allow for Sheridan College to expand their faculty in the field of career technical education. The expansion is needed to keep pace with a changing economy says Sheridan College Welding Instructor Carl Shiner.

Whitney Benefits recently partnered with Sheridan College and pledged one-half of the $2 million that is needed over a five-year period to hire four full-time instructors that specialize in career technical education.
