Chamber Music at Sheridan College to Feature Viol Consort, Flute Choir

The Sheridan College Viol Consort and Flute Choir will perform at Whitney Center for the Arts in Kinnison Hall on Friday, December 14 at 7:00 p.m. The performance will include works by Telemann, Handel, Bach, Domenica de Nola, Bozza, and more. Both the Viol Consort and the Flute Choir are comprised of a combination of community members and Sheridan College students.

The Viol Consort will perform “When Doves Cry” by Prince Rogers Nelson, arranged by Director of Strings and Orchestral Studies Dr. Mark Elliot Bergman. Among other holiday pieces, the Flute Choir will perform “The Nutcracker Suite” by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovksy.

This event is free and open to the public, and no tickets are required.
