There are only a few more days left in the annual "Pennies for Presidents Day" fundraiser.

With the month of February drawing to a close, the final push is on for the 8th annual “Pennies for Presidents Day” fundraiser challenge. Sheridan Senior Center Activities Director Jane Perkins says that they will be accepting your change for a few more days.

The fundraiser is a challenge between six local agencies; Easter Seals, the Girls School, Sheridan Square, Heritage Towers, the Senior Center and Fort Mackenzie High School. Perkins added that the total raised after three weeks is $609.70. It should be noted that last year's winner, Fort Mackenzie, is keeping their totals a secret until the end of the fundraiser. All of the proceeds from the “Pennies for Presidents Day” fundraiser will go toward the Wyoming Cares program.
