* UPDATED* According to information obtained form the National Weather Service in Riverton, the Cato Fire 13 miles northeast of Buffalo continues to burn in Johnson County, but has now spread into Sheridan County as well. The fire started late Monday, the exact cause of the blaze is yet unknown, although a batch of thunderstorms moved through the area Monday night.

As of Wednesday morning, the fire is estimated at 20,000 acres or more. No additional information on the Cato Fire is available at this time. We'll have more on this story as information becomes available.

The Otter Creek fire is burning 15 miles southeast of Ten Sleep, it's estimated at 500+ acres.
