The Tongue River Valley Community Center and the Fiber House in Sheridan have collaborated to form “Caring Threads”, a fiber arts group that provides knitting and crocheted items for those in need.

The group recently donated a knitted and crocheted patchwork afghan to the Welch Cancer Center in Sheridan. Fiber House Owner Donna Stubbs says that the “Caring Threads” group was the brainchild of Emmy Hill at the Tongue River Valley Community Center.

Stubbs says that there are a couple of different ways those interested can get involved in the project.

More information on the group, or how you can get involved, can be obtained by calling Emmy Hill at the TRVCC at 655-9191, or Donna Stubbs at The Fiber House at 673-0383.
