For many of us, it was our first board game, moving the gingerbread game pieces from color to color in hopes of finding King Kandy. Remember it, Candy Land?

There was the Candy Cane Forest, Gum Drop Mountain and the Lollipop Woods. It was such a sweet delight.

The PTO of Coffeen Elementary took Candy Land to new levels Friday night with a life-size game, with life-size characters and you became the game piece. It was the school's largest fundraiser of the year and the whole goal was to find King Kandy's treasure chest. Organizer Jennifer Smith...

The teachers of Coffeen dressed up as Candy Land Characters. There was Princess Lolli.

And then there was the Gum Drop Girl.

And how about Queen Frostine? If you drew her card, you advanced almost to the finish line, but Friday's Queen Frostine had another name as well.

The night included 12 different game booths and carnival style food.
