Cancer Benefit Trap Shoot Saturday

On Saturday, the Sheridan County Sportsmen’s Association will host their Annual Cancer Benefit Trap Shoot. Director of Trap Tracy Landeis, explained that this year it is named to memorialize Bob Prill.

Funds raised during the event will benefit the Sheridan Memorial Hospital Welch Cancer Center. Hospital Director of Donor Relations Ada Kirven shares what the funds have been earmarked for.

Single participants can join the shoot for $30 a piece or a team of 5 for $150. All shotgun types are welcome and those attending should bring 50 rounds of ammo with them for the event. Lunch, raffles, prizes, and a free t-shirt will be provided. Day of registration will take place at 8:30am with the first round of shooting set to start at 9am. Registration forms can also be found before Saturday at Rocky Mountain Discount Sports, Shipton’s Big R, Big Horn Trading, and Sportsman’s Warehouse or by contacting the SCSA at 763-0207.
