Bull Snake Causes Thousands to Lose Power in Sheridan County

On Tuesday, at about 12:45pm thousands of Montana-Dakota Utilities Customers lost power in Sheridan, Ranchester, and Dayton. Mark Hanson with the MDU Media Relations Team said that the outage was caused by a snake.

Hanson said that at least 3,900 customers were affected.

According to the Sheridan Police Department and Sheridan Memorial Hospital, their services were operational throughout the incident.
