Building Inspector's Report, Update On City Hall Flagpole

Buffalo's City Building Inspector Toby Rhoades gave his report to the city council at their last meeting, and a local Boy Scout gave an update on the status of his flagpole project for city hall.

Rhoades reported that he has issued a permit for the expansion and remodeling of the county library.
Rhoades has also performed four plan reviews and issued four permits for new construction of single-family homes in the Buffalo Ridge Subdivision.
He also issued a permit for asbestos removal, sandblasting and other work to be performed on the city-owned log archery building in preparation for its remodel.

Rhoades then announced Boy Scout Aaron Seeman was in attendance to update the council on the flag pole project.

The council decided on silver for the flagpole and told Seeman to give his list of required materials for the lighting and rope pulley system to Rhoades who will make the purchases on his behalf and submit the invoices to the city clerk.

Mayor Mike Johnson thanked Seeman for his efforts and for speaking to the individuals who will volunteer their time to help with the project.
