Buffalo's Raw Water Line Upgrade Nearing Completion

Buffalo's Raw Water Line Upgrade Nearing Completion

Nearly 1,000 feet of the line has been replaced and crews still need to complete the lower tie-in with the existing junction. They are still waiting on controls for the pressure-reduction valves and the project will be completed once those are installed.

The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has issued the permit for the installation of the sewer line and lift station for the new Cloud Peak School that will run under Conrad Street. The school will go to a gravity-feed sewer line once the property to the east of the school is developed, Hook said.

Crews have been and will continue filling potholes on city streets as other projects allow.

Alleyways in the city will also be getting some work done to them this summer.

The council discussed what will be done to them.

Hook said as the weather improves and the ground dries out, work on the alleys will begin.
