The City of Buffalo will be having their annual City-wide Spring Cleanup Wednesday, May 9th through Saturday, May 12th.

The cleanup has become a popular event in Buffalo since it began a few years ago, allowing everyone living inside the city limits the opportunity to clean up their yards and property of non-hazardous debris, garbage and other material, with the city picking up the cost, according to City Building Inspector Toby Rhoades.

The city will again pay for appliances and recaptured refrigerants during the cleanup, he said.

All that is needed is for residents to stop by City Hall to sign up and receive a voucher which allows them to make trips to the landfill.

Rhoades is also working on getting local Boy Scouts and Ag students at the high school to help with collecting waste materials for elderly or other in-need city residents during the cleanup.
For more information on the Citywide Spring Cleanup, contact Toby Rhoades at Buffalo's City Hall at 684-5566, extension 6.
