Buffalo Police Pick Up New Patrol Car

Buffalo Police Pick Up New Patrol Car

Buffalo Police Chief Jason Carder, during his report to the city council, said he was sending officers to Colorado to pick up the department's newest patrol car. He expected the car to be in the normal vehicle rotation this week.

Carder also reported the department is in full swing with their “Blue Santa” program for this year, and explained what it is about.
He said for the last three years, the department, along with other partners in the community, have found people that may be in need but for whatever reason have difficulty asking for help.

He explains further.

If you would like to help but have questions about the program, please contact Officer Matt Misslin at (307) 217-3288.

Finally, Carder reported the latest TIPS class (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) had two students complete it.
