Buffalo City Planner Zach Montgomery gave a brief update on the progress concerning the new O'Reilly Auto Parts Store on East Hart Street, saying they should begin construction as soon as the ground thaws enough to begin work.

The developer has submitted their plans for approval of a building permit, and are awaiting notification.

Montgomery explains more about the new street.

There is currently a 20-foot easement in the existing Subway parking lot owned by the city, he said, and coupled with an additional 40-foot easement from O'Reilly, there will be enough of an easement for the new street.

Montgomery said the street has not yet been named, but the property owner has been asked to submit ideas that will be taking before the city council for their approval in the next few weeks.
