The first of the Buffalo Main Street Markets a
nd the Alive After Five and Classic Car Cruise was Wednesday evening at Crazy Woman Square.

Classic Cars lined Main Street and vendors and patrons alike fell on Crazy Woman Square downtown to celebrate summer.

Marie Verger, with the Buffalo Downtown Association, said she was pleased with the first market, and is looking forward to the rest of them later this summer.

Wednesday's festivities included a ribbon cutting to celebrate the newly hung banners and flower baskets in the square; complimentary hot dogs, home-made potato salad and lemonade and entertainment was provided by Sheridan Media's own Oldies 105.9 van, which pumped out some classic cruisin' music from the 50s.

Buffalo's Main Street Market will happen every first Wednesday of the month through September.

For more information, or to become a vendor, contact Marie Verger at (760) 445-7217, or online at info@mainstreetbuffalo.org
