Both the Johnson County Commission and the Buffalo City Council approved resolutions at their meetings Tuesday to support Governor Matt Mead in his efforts to allocate more funds to attract high-tech companies to Wyoming.

Buffalo Mayor Randy Dyess explained the Resolution to those at the city council meeting.

The Johnson County Commission adopted a similar Resolution at their meeting Tuesday, giving their support to the Governor.

The Governor's plan is to double the amount of money in the pool to recruit data centers and high-tech companies to the state. Governor Mead requested the 2012 Legislature add $15 million to the $15 million already in the pool.

The 61st Wyoming Legislature will discuss the proposal during the Legislative Budget Session, which begins with the State of the State Address at 10 am February 13th.
