Buffalo Habitat Garage Sale Opens

Buffalo Habitat Garage Sale Opens

The Buffalo Chapter of Habitat For Humanity will be having their annual Habitat Garage Sale tonight through Sunday at the Johnson County Fairgrounds.

Tonight from 5 to 8pm will be the “Earlybird Sale,” where for just
$10 per family, shoppers can get the first opportunity to browse the treasures. The Garage Sale is free to attend the rest of the weekend.
Friday and Saturday the sale will begin at 9am and continue to 4pm, and Sunday's hours are 11am to 4pm.

There will be three buildings full of items to choose from and as items are purchased, more will be brought in to replace them, so the inventory is constantly changing. What you see Friday night is not necessarily what you will find Saturday.

“Buy So We Can Build” is the slogan they live by with all proceeds from the event going to help build affordable housing in Buffalo.

Lunch items will be available for purchase during the four-day event, offered by The American Legion and Auxiliary from Powder River Post No. 13 in Buffalo.
