Buffalo Council OKs Transfer, New Use of Unspent Funds

At their Tuesday meeting, the Buffalo City Council approved a request from the Recycling Board to transfer unspent One-Percent funds from last year's budget to this year's budget and to re-allocate what those funds can be used for.

The $2,304 remaining in last year's budget is left over from the purchase of trailers for recycling purposes, and the Recycling Board wants to use those remaining funds for outreach/education/containers.

Mayor Randy Dyess explained the request in more detail to the council.

The council unanimously approved the request.
