Buffalo Council OK's Resolutions On Schedules, Capitalization

At their last meeting the Buffalo City Council approved two Resolutions, one concerning employee scheduling and the other on capitalization.

Resolution No. 1341 amended the city personnel policy to allow a 9/80 work schedule. Not all departments will be implementing the schedule change, but it is now available to department heads to use should they need it.

The schedule makes it easier to cover shifts at the water and wastewater plants when employees must be on-callin ceertain situations.

Mayor Randy Dyess explains further.

Also passed was Resolution No. 1342, which became necessary when Buffalo became a First-Class City at the last census.

City Clerk Julie Silbernagel explains.

Both Resolutions were passed by the council.
