Buffalo Council Gets Update On Senior Center Boiler Project

A.J. Mock, Director of the Buffalo Senior Center, gave an update to the Buffalo City Council at their last meeting, saying the engineering firm has been hired and they will be moving forward with a plan to replace the boiler system in the city-owned building.

Mock explained further.

The estimated cost of replacing the outdated boiler system in the building is about $150,000 according earlier reports from Mock.
When Mock approached the city for help, the city decided to look into replacing the existing single large boiler with two or three smaller boilers that will be more efficient.

Both the city and the county are inclined to help the Senior Center
but wanted engineer's estimates done before committing to a specific amount to design and then replace the boiler system.
