The meeting of the Buffalo City Council Tuesday evening will feature a number of “housekeeping” items for them to discuss and work through, including an amendment to their current budget, the first reading of next year's budget, and the first reading of their five-year Capital Improvements Plan (CIP).

Buffalo Mayor Shane Schrader explains what the CIP is and why the city uses the five-year plan.

Additionally, the city council will oversee the Oath of Office for a new patrol officer; discuss street closures for upcoming Farmers Markets; and consider a request for modifications to the city-owned building housing the Buffalo Children's Center.

The meeting will begin at 5pm Tuesday in Buffalo's City Hall.
