Buffalo Council Awards Bid For Cemetery Road Pathway

Buffalo Council Awards Bid For Cemetery Road Pathway

The Buffalo City Council awarded the contract to build the pathway along Cemetery Road to ICM, or Intermountain Construction Materials.

The bid opening for the project was held April 29th and the recommendation from City Planner Zach Montgomery was for the award to go to ICM.

The bid from ICM was for just over $52,000 which will be paid out of the remaining $162,000 for the project, according to Montgomery.

The pathway will be an all-weather-type surface that will be built along the south side of Cenetery Road from Old Highway 87 west to South Burritt Street, to tie-in walkways and sidewalks to and from all of the schools.

Montgomery gives more details on the project.

Also approved by the council was Montgomery's request for Nelson Engineering to oversee the management of the project.
