Buffalo Council Approves Youth Baseball Requests

Buffalo Youth Baseball brought a number of requests before the Buffalo City Council at their meeting this week, asking them to approve moving the concessions trailer to Prosinski Field and keeping it there from April 26th through July.

Also approved was their request for traffic control and the closure of Angus Street May 31st and June 1st for a baseball tournament.

Finally the council was requested to approve joint control and use of the new baseball/softball complex and concessions building for the 2014 season.

All of the requests were approved by the council.

Kelly Bender, with Buffalo Youth Baseball, spoke on behalf of the organization, thanking the council for the new Sports Fields Complex.

Bender said the organization is growing, with increasing numbers of kids involved in baseball.
